yesterday morning, Tanner and I were sitting together on the couch watching Handy Manny. When Sean walked in the room:

Tanner said "I'm watching Handy Manny dad"

Sean "wow that sounds fun!"

he knows how to wrap us around his finger. I love how all of my kids look up to their dad. I think it's so sweet when they still think we can do no wrong.

5 things I was doing 10 years ago ...

1- I was 25. 2- mom of two very active boys and loving every minute of it Caiden was 1 and Matt was 4. 3- just found out I was pregnant, had no idea at the time it would be our first little girl {and only girl} right after I told Sean the news he was in a minor car accident on his way to school I think he was a bit distracted. It did total our vehicle though 4-I was working as an apartment manager so I could stay home with my guys and help put Sean through medic school 5- living in St. George

5 things on today's "to do" list...

1- finish reading Midnight Sun so I can get to bed at a decent hour 2-Friday nights the kids either have friends over or go out with friends. tonight plans kind of depend on theirs. 3- put the food storage away that I just got from the Macey's case lot sale. 4-take boys to football practice 5- Laundry

Tanner is so funny.. He likes to dress up in his big brothers clothes. The other day he went in Matt's room and put on his football gear. He looks so little in them I grabbed my camera and took this picture. He lifted the helmet up in the picture. but when it was down I could verily see his face. It reminded me of Chicken Little!!

since summer is winding down and coming to an end. We took advantage of the good weather and went on a family picnic. It was nice to hang out and munch on all the yummy food everyone brought. After we ate the guys played football, and the kids climbed the hills and slid down. Then they dug in the dirt and found acorns and snail shells. I love my family it's fun to spend time with them. It was nice to hang out and relax together.

yummy fruit pizza

i made this fruit pizza for a young women's activity last week. it was so yummy. the girls seemed to really like it {my kids did too}, and it was easy to make. i found the recipe here.

back to school 2008

ah back to school time again. where did the summer go? I'm feeling old now with a 9th, 6th and 4th grader.

Matt is 14 and in the 9th grade.

Caiden is 11 in the 6th grade. His teacher is Mrs. Bufton.
{he's ready to go, attitude and all... poor teacher}

Lindsey is 9 in 4th grade. Her teacher is Mr. Thorpe.
